Use Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) for advanced or specialized creative work involving images, illustration, video, audio, page layout and PDFs. Adobe CC includes applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign and Acrobat Pro for activities that require capabilities beyond Adobe Express.

Use Adobe Express to create graphics, presentations, webpages, videos and other digital content. Its browser-based tools help faculty and students communicate ideas without requiring advanced design software. ASU access also includes supported Adobe Firefly features and Adobe Podcast.

Use Ally in Canvas to identify and address accessibility issues in course materials. Ally checks supported files, provides guidance for improving them and helps instructors review accessibility across a course. It also creates alternative formats that students can download based on their learning needs and preferences.

Use ASU Portfolio to help students collect examples of their work, reflect on their learning and showcase skills and achievements over time. Students can build portfolios for courses, programs or other audiences, while faculty can use them to review learning and progress toward course or program goals.

Use Canvas to organize course materials and activities, communicate with students, collect assignments, provide feedback and manage grades. Canvas provides a central place for students to access course content and activities and connects with many other ASU-supported teaching technologies.

Use CredID to recognize skills, knowledge, experiences and achievements with verifiable digital credentials. Faculty and programs can award credentials for meaningful learning or accomplishments, while students can claim and share them with employers, educational institutions and other audiences.

Use Ed Discussion to create a searchable space for course questions, answers and discussions. Students can ask and respond to questions, while instructors can organize conversations and endorse helpful answers. Posts can also include media, math equations, code snippets and files.

Use Equatio to create digital math and scientific notation for course materials and activities. Type, handwrite or dictate equations and expressions, then insert them into Canvas, Google Workspace or Microsoft Word. Multiple input options can support different ways of creating mathematical and scientific content.

Use Google Apps to create and share course materials, collaborate with students, collect responses, create short videos and manage assignment activities. Tools such as Docs, Slides, Forms and Vids support different types of course work, and several Google Apps connect with Canvas.

Use Grackle to check and improve the accessibility of course content created in Google Workspace. Grackle reviews Google Docs, Slides and Sheets for common accessibility barriers and provides guidance for addressing issues directly in the original file before it is shared with students.

Use Harmonize to create course activities where students can discuss ideas, annotate readings, share media, provide peer feedback and respond to one another's work. Harmonize connects with Canvas and supports several types of interaction when you need more than a traditional discussion board.

Use Honorlock when a remote exam requires identity verification and monitoring of the testing environment. Honorlock combines automated monitoring with live proctor assistance and provides recordings and flagged events for instructor review. Students access Honorlock through their Canvas course.

Use iClicker to ask questions, check student understanding, collect feedback and support interactive learning activities during or outside class. iClicker supports live polling, peer discussion, low-stakes quizzes and attendance. It also connects with Canvas to sync course rosters and eligible activity scores.

Use InScribe to create a course community where students can ask questions, find answers and share resources. Searchable conversations allow students to learn from previous questions and responses, while faculty and other community experts can provide guidance and verified answers.

Use Respondus LockDown Browser when a Canvas exam requires a controlled testing environment. It restricts access to other applications, websites, copying and printing. LockDown Browser alone does not record students; instructors can enable Respondus Monitor for automated recording and review.
