XKit: Adobe Premiere Rush - Podcast

The XKit was created as part of the Digital Fluency Creative, a creative learning initiative for instructors at Arizona State University, supported by Adobe. Developed by Karla Murphy and Chelsie Schlesinger, 2021. From the authors: "From investigative stories, interviews, roundtable discussions, theatrical performances, monologues, and conversations, there seems to be a podcast format and topic for just about every type of listener. Further, and this is just hearsay (we don’t have a source), more people than ever seem to be listening. But more than just being popular, podcasts mirror many of the rhetorical moves used in writing: invention, organization, and writing and revision are all invaluable steps in creating memorable podcast episodes. So, as a way to both encourage students to participate in a social media platform familiar to them and practice skills necessary for successful writing, the podcast assignment was born."
