Hosts may set a password to a Zoom meeting if they desire one level of security in deterring uninvited participants. Passwords may be provided upon participants registering for a zoom meeting or the host may share it in their own manner. Be sure to check the Zoom settings before scheduling a meeting and setting a password.
**Passwords will not prevent uninvited guests as they can be shared from user to user easily, it is only a form of deterrence at the discretion of the host.**
