Submission comments are the assignment comments an instructor may leave on an assignment for a student as feedback. Alternatively, students may leave submission comments on their submitted assignments to provide more information to the course instructor.
Notifications may be turned on by the instructor in order to be emailed when a student leaves submission comments. The email will link the instructor back to the assignment the comment was left on. Additionally, instructors may review submission comments in other places on Canvas: the Canvas Inbox or Gradebook.
