Restricting file types for online assignment submissions will tell Canvas what types of files to accept from students. Document types that do not match the requirement, will not be uploaded and students will be told to try another file.
**Canvas SpeedGrader’s Doc Viewer can only display for specific file types. Please see the resources for file types that are accepted.**
