The Zoom conferencing tool allows hosts to require participants to register for a scheduled meeting in order to collect important user information. In addition, requiring registration may aid in filtering participants to ensure only approved users may join the Zoom meeting. 

Registration requirement can be enabled when scheduling a meeting through an ASU Zoom account at asu.zoom.us. However, this feature is only available when a new meeting ID is created. It cannot be applied to a personal meeting ID (PMI).

**The registration feature is not available when scheduling through the Zoom desktop.**
