The Zoom online conferencing tool allows hosts to manage users participating in a meeting through a variety of ways. From the “Manage Participant” button in a Zoom meeting, hosts can control microphones, video, and permissions set on participants. Participants even have nonverbal feedback buttons that can be used to signal to the host without making interruptions. For additional desired settings, hosts should update their meeting settings from their account in asu.zoom.us.

**Before starting a meeting, it is advisable to set meeting etiquette that participants should follow. Some common ones are muting microphones to avoid background noise, stopping video if it is not necessary to see everyone visually, respecting and speaking professionally to others, acting and dressing appropriately during video calls, and stationing yourself in an appropriate location without distractions. **
