Instructors creating an online submission Canvas assignment can limit the number of attempts a student may have when submitting their work. If more than one attempt is set, please be sure to grade all resubmissions or select the link in SpeedGrader that states “Use this same grade for the resubmission”, otherwise the student’s grade box in the gradebook will continue to display an assignment icon.
