Instructors will organize their graded assignments from the “Assignment” link in the Course Navigation. Published assignments will then automatically sync into the Canvas Gradebook for instructors to add grades and provide feedback.
Assignments, or columns, that are elected to be excluded from the final course grade, will have an exclamation mark next to the title in the Gradebook. Students will also see this mark in their Grades under the same assignment title. Assignments excluded from the final grade may be used to show attendance, or other non-grading items, to students that should not affect final grades.
**Steps are performed using the New Gradebook, if your gradebook looks different, please adjust steps as needed**
