  • Adobe Express is an all-in-one content creation application designed for quick and easy creation of graphics, videos, images, PDFs, flyers, logos, and more. It is user-friendly and doesn't require extensive design experience. Adobe Express is available as a web application and a mobile app.
  • Adobe Firefly is a family of creative generative AI models that empower users to generate high-quality images, videos, audio, and vector graphics using everyday language. Adobe Firefly features include Text to Image, Text Effects, Generative Fill, Text to Video, and Image to Video. Firefly is trained on licensed Adobe Stock images and public domain content, making its output commercially safe

ASU students, faculty, and staff can request access to Adobe Express and Firefly at no cost.

Quick Steps to start using Adobe Express and Firefly 

  1. Based on your ASU affiliation, submit the correct form to request access.
    1. If you are an ASU student, submit the student request form
    2. If you are ASU faculty or staff, submit the faculty and staff request form.

       

  2. Students WILL NOT receive an email confirmation; accounts are automatically provisioned within 24 hours of the request.
    1. If you are unable to access your account, contact the Experience Center.
  3. Visit the Adobe Express product page, type in your ASU email, and select the "Continue" button.

  4. Complete any additional authentication steps required by ASU.

     

  5. Explore templates, design tools, and AI features such as Firefly image generation.

  6. Save your work to your ASU cloud storage for easy access.
  7. For tutorials and support, visit tech.asu.edu/adobe or ai.asu.edu/ai-tools.

A student wants to design a professional digital poster for a campus club recruitment event, using AI-generated visuals and easy-to-use design tools.

Steps

  1. Go to new.express.adobe.com.
  2. Choose a poster template from the template gallery.
  3. Use Firefly to generate eye-catching graphics or background images by entering a text prompt (e.g., “modern campus recruitment poster background”).
  4. Customize the poster by adding club details, event information, and custom text effects using Firefly’s generative text features.
